What are deal breakers in a marriage?

What are reasons to leave a marriage and what are reasons to stay even though its not easy?What are deal breakers in a marriage?

1. NO HITTING. (this includes all forms of abuse)


2. NO LYING. (small white lies are acceptable. example: ';No, I don't know what your best friend is getting you for your birthday.'; When in fact you helped his best friend pick it out.)


3. NO CHEATING. (Physical and/or emotional.)


4. NO STEALING.





Times get tough but true commitment sticks it out. But even true commitment knows when to cut and run. (If your spouse is beating you then taking all the family money to buy prostitutes and crack cocaine. It's time to leave.)What are deal breakers in a marriage?
Cheating. How could you ever trust your spouse again?


Abuse. Yeah, an abuser might change someday, but do you want to bet your kids on it?





Reasons to stay even though it's not easy:


When one spouse is very sick. Some people take out their pain and fear on others, which makes it hard to stay and be a caregiver. Still, it's something that can be worked out.
Its different for everyone. To me, the only total deal breaker is abuse of me or my children. Cheating, drugs, and money problems can all be dealt with if you are truly committed. Abusers don't change. Child abusers should be burned at the stake.
One party not wanting children when the other does is one of the biggest deal breakers I know of.
