If you are Pro gay marriage, are you by default also for the drafting of women if the need arrises?

If we are making families genderless, so should the draft also right? If you are Pro gay marriage, are you by default also for the drafting of women if the need arrises?
I see no connection. I'm pro gay marriage because I don't care what gay couples do, and just don't see a need for the government to be involved in how people arrange their own families. I don't believe the lie that letting gay people into the club would be the end of marriage. Was allowing them to date the end of dating? You're afraid of government-run healthcare, but government-regulated families is okay? Screw that. Government is genderless, not families- even gay ones.

If you're willing to let women die in your place in the event of a draft, that's your own cowardice- don't try to make it law.If you are Pro gay marriage, are you by default also for the drafting of women if the need arrises?
I am pro gay marriage because I believe that people should have the freedom to decide who to marry. I am opposed to the draft in general, because it forces people to fight, rather than giving them the freedom to decide whether or not to fight.

On a different note... if you are Pro-Life, then shouldn't you be willing to donate an organ (such as a kidney)? If you are going to force a woman to unwillingly give birth to a baby, then you should be willing to sacrifice your own body.
This is a false dichotomy. Homosexual rights and women's rights are two distinct issues.

But in this case, we are talking about the draft, so it is a civil liberties case, since the draft begs the question: ';does the government own the bodies of it's citizens, and does it have the right to dispose of the bodies (i.e the lives) of it's citizens in order to achieve political goals?'; I believe the answer to that question is a big fat ';no';. The draft is a tool of oppression and tyranny and should be made unconstitutional.

Ending federally mandated discrimination against homosexuals has nothing to do with the draft.
Sure - seems reasonable to me. If republicans want more wars - and we all know they do - then they can draft the people to fight them through the Selective Service... And MAYBE some sons and daughters of republican fat cats will go off to war too. Imagine that!

OR... maybe before we start a war we'll think about it two or three times.

I think the draft would be great - Best thing Nixon ever did for the republicans is Dump the Draft - since then the republicans have started 15 or 20 wars - and nobody cares.

Minorities and foreign mercenaries fight our wars now - just like in Rome in the 3rd nd 4th Centuries AD.
If women want equality then they should be begging to be included in the mandatory selective service draft.

Wanting partially in is kind of weak. It is tantamount to saying I want presents on Christmas morning but could you bring them to me in bed.
The draft is involuntary servitude for reasons other than the punishment for a crime. Therefore, it should be ruled unconstitutional, and your question is moot.
If we had a draft, then yes, I would also be for women being drafted. But, we don't. However, I do believe women who are in the military should be able to fight alongside men.
Absolutely. I think women are men's equals in every way and they should serve alongside men.
Why not? Women are equal aren't they?
Gay marriage has nothing to do with selective service. They are two separate issues.
you either HAVE liberty %26amp; justice for ALL

or YOU DO NOT

I WANT LIBERTY %26amp; JUSTICE FOR ALL

DON'T WANT TO SEND WOMEN TO WAR?

HAVE FEWER WARS!
No, I am for eliminating the selective service.
So...if two women marry they are genderless? Do you know what gender means?
