Been married over 20 years, found out recently that he has a child that he has been hiding for 8 years. the child is 8 years old, and the only way he got caught is that the mom sued him for support...Please help... i get out.Divorce in illinois: can marriage be annulled if one spouse fathers an illegitmate child during the marriage?

From what I researched for an annulment you would have to prove fraud in this case you say u have been married for twenty years and this wedlock child happened 8 yrs ago so for all u know he was faithful for 12yrs in a marriage willingly on your part so the grounds for an annulment are not met but surely you could probably get a push in divorce proceedings with this knowledge of his extra activities.

Grounds for divorce: yes.
