Is it still considered a marriage without any bondings for 8 years with your spouse, and living apart?

...without a divorce - yes...Is it still considered a marriage without any bondings for 8 years with your spouse, and living apart?
I don't understand the phrase ';without any bondings';. Do you mean that your relationship was a co-habit without a legally licensed and executed marriage? If that is the case, then some states recognize ';common law'; marriage and would consider this a legal bond. What state do you live in?

The real question is, Why do you ask? Is this for spiritual or moral reasons, or legal ones? Marriage should exceed legal quandaries. If legal questions are the basis of your inquiry, then you need to find legal counsel. That is not available in YA Philosophy.

Sorry for your loss, my friend! Is it still considered a marriage without any bondings for 8 years with your spouse, and living apart?
Legally, as far as marrying someone else, yes, you are married until you officially divorce, no matter the length or conditions of the separation. Other than being unable to marry anyone else, one is as single as one wants to be, especially if finances are not commingled. You can even file your taxes as Single after only six months of separation (in California, at least). Some people who don't intend to ever remarry do this indefinitely and avoid the hassle and expense of the divorce process. This might get sticky, though, when one of them dies and there is not a specifically stated next of kin; the surviving spouse could technically stake a claim to any inheritance and/or be held liable for any outstanding debts.
Until the paperwork is legally dissolved - then yes.

You need to file married - separately.
Not really, in my opinion. but legally, yes, it is.
Why not?

Cheers!!!!!
